Shaken Matcha Green Tea Latte
This Starbucks drink does not have Sugar Syrup; all the sugar can be found in the Matcha Green Tea Powder. And even though it’s well below the FDA’s recommended 400 mg/day, there is caffeine in this drink. To keep the calories and caffeine down, reducing the amount of Green Tea Powder used will help a lot. Or you can make this version at home!
Ingredients
- 1 Tsp Matcha Powder
- ½ C Water , hot 5
- ½ C Oat Milk (or any dairy/alt dairy you prefer)
- 1 Tbsp Simple Infused Syrup
- Dash Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Whisk together Matcha and Water. Cool to room temperature.
- In a shaker or jar with lid, add Matcha, Oat Milk, Syrup, Vanilla and Ice.
- Shake until well blended and frothy.
- Strain into Glass and Enjoy!
