Cilantro Lime Salt

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Flake Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Cilantro , minced
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Zest

Directions

  1. PreHeat Oven to 200-225F. Parchment line a baking sheet.
  2. Use a mortar and pestle to grind the ingredients together. The mixture will be dampor pasty as the oils from the cilantro and lime breakdown.Blend Well.Repeat as many times as you have ingredients. And change the proportions to your palate.

Grapefruit Oil

Ingredients

  • 1 Grapefruit , peel removed
  • 2 C Olive Oil

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, warm the zest and oil over medium heat. DO NOT ALLOW TO SIMMER OR DEVELOP BUBBLES. Keep the oil warm for about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and continue to infuse while the oil cools. Discard peel and store oil in a clean sealable jar.

Pickled Figs

Ingredients

  • 1 C Dried Figs , Stems Removed and Halved
  • 1 ½ C Balsamic VinegarĀ 
  • 2 Sprigs Rosemary
  • Sea Salt & Pepper

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat and simmer for 5minutes. Remove from heat, allow to cool to room temperature. Store in fridge.
  2. Same recipe works with fresh berries eliminating the cooking step and just cold pickle the berries.

Orange Sugar

Ingredients

  • 1 C Raw Sugar
  • 2 Orange , Zested

Directions

  1. Use a mortar and pestle to grind 1Tbsp Sugar and 1 Tbsp Zest and set aside.
  2. Repeat until all zest is used. Combine with remaining sugar in glass jar and store in refrigerator.

Almond Flour Bisquit

Ingredients

  • 1 C Almond Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • Sea Salt
  • 2 Large Eggs , whisked
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Butter
  • 2 Tspb Sour Cream (Optional)

Directions

  1. PreHeat oven to 350F. Parchment line a Baking Sheet.
  2. Mix Flour, Baking Powder andSalt. Stir in egg, oil, and sour cream (if using).
  3. Scoop onto baking sheet and slightly flatten. Bake for 15 minutes.
