Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • Tamari (Soy) Sauce - As Needed

Directions

  1. Drain the Oysters and reserve the liquid. Add Oysters to the food processor, and process until finely chopped.
  2. Heat Saucepan on Medium. Add Oysters and Oyster Liquid – bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 8-12 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and add salt. Allow to cool.
  3. Drain mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a glass measuring cup. Discard the chunks in the sieve. Add 2 Tablespoons of Tamari to each ½ Cup of liquid. Add one final Tablespoon of sauce. Add back to the saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, simmer for 10 min.
  4. Allow to cool and store in fridge. Can be used up to one month.
