Lettuce Wrap

This dish has qualities of both a Fish Sandwich and Fish Taco, but none of the extra carb calories that both of those have. By using a lettuce wrap, you’ll never miss the 100-200 calories eliminated. And we’ve increased the flavor profile by adding preserved lemons and sumac for that citrus burst this gorgeous piece of fish is begging for.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 8 Oz Cod
- Sea Salt & Pepper
- Lettuce Leaves , large
- 4 Tbsp SMART Tzatziki
- Sumac
- Preserved Lemon
Directions
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, add olive oil.
- Season fish with Salt and Pepper.
- When oil is hot, add fish and cook through (approx. 3 minutes per side, depending upon thickness).
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- TO ASSEMBLE: Start with lettuce leaves (double up if delicate). Add SMART Tzatziki and fish. Finish with Sumac and Preserved Lemon.
