Lettuce Wrap

This dish has qualities of both a Fish Sandwich and Fish Taco, but none of the extra carb calories that both of those have. By using a lettuce wrap, you’ll never miss the 100-200 calories eliminated. And we’ve increased the flavor profile by adding preserved lemons and sumac for that citrus burst this gorgeous piece of fish is begging for.

Serving size 1 Lettuce Wrap 223 cal Protein: 23 g Carbs: 5 g Fat: 13 g

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8 Oz Cod
  • Sea Salt & Pepper
  • Lettuce Leaves , large
  • 4 Tbsp SMART Tzatziki
  • Sumac
  • Preserved Lemon

Directions

  1. In a sauté pan over medium heat, add olive oil.
  2. Season fish with Salt and Pepper. 
  3. When oil is hot, add fish and cook through (approx. 3 minutes per side, depending upon thickness).
  4. Remove from pan and set aside.
  5. TO ASSEMBLE: Start with lettuce leaves (double up if delicate). Add SMART Tzatziki and fish. Finish with Sumac and Preserved Lemon.
