Korean BBQ Sauce

Meal: 28 cal Protein: 1 g Carbs: 7 g Fat: 0 g

Many Asian Sauces are filled with Sugar, and Korean BBQ is no different. We’ve created a version that is sweetened with Medjool Dates and made even richer with Black Strap Molasses. The combination sweetens the sauce without making it overly sweet and layers perfectly with the rest of the bright Asian flavors – garlic, ginger, spicy Gochuchang, and a bit of Dijon to bring in a tang. This sauce is a bit lighter in calories, but mostly, it is so flavorful that when you use it in the following dishes or others that you create, you’ll find that it takes the simplest proteins and vegetables pair with it. The big calorie savings come in the form of less starch and heavy toppings.
