Hoisin Sauce

Meal: 45 cal Protein: 0 g Carbs: 3 g Fat: 4 g

Serving size 2 Tbsp 45 cal Protein: 0 g Carbs: 3 g Fat: 4 g

Ingredients

  • ¼ C Tamari (Soy) Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter (I used almond butter)
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Asian Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 2 Tsp Miso
  • 1 Clove Garlic , minced

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Stores well for up to one month.
  3. OPTIONAL: Coat fish with sauce as it is cooking to give a more flavorful finish. Note, in the video, I used Shoyu (soy sauce that has been aged and fermented), Honey, Fish Sauce and Sesame Oil. Any variation of these ingredient would work – you’re looking for a bit of salty and sweet on the fish.
