Cole Slaw (Asian Style)
The traditional version of cole slaw has nearly 300 calories per cup. Our version is less than a third of the calories and a fraction of the sugar and fat. For flavor, we’ve added fresh miso, tamari (soy sauce), and fresh ginger!
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Mayo
- 3 Tbsp Miso
- ¼ C Rice Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Tamari (Soy) Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Ginger , grated
- Lemon Zest & juice
- Sea Salt
- 3 C Napa Cabbage
- ½ Onion , grated
- 1 Pear , grated
Directions
- In salad bowl, combine mayo, miso, vinegar, oil, tamari, honey, ginger, zest, juice, and salt.
- Combine cabbage, onion, pear, and mix well with dressing. Refrigerate prior to serving.
