Holidays, no matter what the celebration, always come with a lot of food and generally, an enormous volume of calories. This is one beautiful dish that makes an appearance on many Passover tables. We have trimmed back the calories by flipping the ratio of nuts to apples to keep the integrity of the flavors but lighten the calories a bit.

Serving size 1/12 Cup 39 cal Protein: 1 g Carbs: 2 g Fat: 3 g

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Walnuts , toasted
  • 1 cup Apple , peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp Grape Juice

Directions

  1. Add everything except Juice to the food processor, and pulse until smooth with a bit of chunk.
  2. Add just enough grape juice to pull it together. Serve with matzah crackers.
