Blueberry Syrup

Serving size ¼ C 12 cal Protein: 0g Carbs: 3g Fat: 0g

Ingredients

  • 2 C Frozen Blueberries (or other berries)
  • 1 Orange , zest and juice

Directions

  1. Place berries, juice, and zest in saucepan over medium-low.
  2. Cook until berries are softened.
  3. Serve as is, or pulse in a blender for a smoother finish.

Perfect for French Toast or Pancakes. Really good as a layer in a Breakfast Trifle – Blueberry Muffins (cut up), yoghurt w/orange zest, blueberry syrup, and toasted almonds.
